Auli is a Himalayan ski resort and hill station located in the north Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is surrounded by coniferous and oak forests, plus the Nanda Devi and Nar Parvat mountains. 

Tungnath is one of the highest Shiva temples in the world and is the highest of the five Panch Kedar temples located in the Rudraprayag district, in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is situated at a height of 3680 meters above sea level.

Delhi to Rishikesh

Drive  Duration- 6-7 hours  Drive Distance- 260 km

• Start early from Delhi and drive to Rishikesh.
• Reach Rishikesh by afternoon and check-in at your hotel.
• After lunch, visit Lakshman Jhula and Mansa Devi Temple in Haridwar.
• Return to by evening/night and stay overnight at your hotel.

Harshil and Gangotri visit

Drive  Duration- 2-3 hours  Drive Distance- 50 km

  • After breakfast, check-out from your hotel and get ready to explore Harsil
  • visit Wilson Cottage and Mandakini Falls near the village and then move forward drive to Gangotri via NH34
  • Reach Gangotri by noon and check-in at your hotel.
  • After lunch, visit Gangotri Temple and offer prayers to Goddess Ganga.
  • If time permits, you can also visit Gangotri National Park or trek to Gaumukh glacier.
  • Return to your hotel by evening and stay overnight.

 

Gangotri and Uttarkashi visit

  • After lunch, visit Vishwanath Temple and Nehru Institute of Mountaineering in Uttarkashi.

Uttarkashi to Chopta

Drive  Duration- 8-9 hours  Drive Distance- 220 km

  • After breakfast, check-out from your hotel and drive to Chopta
  • Admire the beauty of the Garhwal Himalayas along the way.
  • Reach Chopta and check-in at your hotel or campsite.
  • Then go for a walk to explore the local
  • Return to your hotel or campsite by evening and enjoy the starry sky.

Tungnath and chandrshila trek and drive to Auli

Drive  Duration- 4-5 hours  Drive Distance- 110 km

  • After breakfast, check-out from your hotel.
  • The trek from Chopta to Tungnath Temple is about 3.5 km and takes around 2-3 hours to complete. Enjoy the panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks like Chaukhamba, Nanda Devi, Trishul and Kedar from the temple premises.
  • From Tungnath Temple, it’s another 1.5 km trek to reach the top of Chandrashila Peak. Chandrashila offers a 360-degree view of the Himalayas and is also a great spot for birdwatching.
  • You can either trek or take a pony ride to reach these places.
  • Trek back to Chopta and drive to Auli

Auli to Haridwar

Drive  Duration- 9-10 hours  Drive Distance- 280 km

  • After breakfast, check-out from your hotel or resort and drive back to Haridwar via NH7 and NH34.
  • Enjoy the scenic views of the countryside and the Ganges river along the way.
  • Reach Haridwar by evening and check-in at your hotel.
  • After dinner, if time permit visit Har Ki Pauri and Mansa Devi Temple in Haridwar. You can either walk or take a cable car ride to reach the temple.
  • Return to your hotel by night and rest.

Haridwar to Delhi
