To begin with, me and my wife are 62yr and 61 yrs, respectively. We approached a few tour operators that conduct treks to Pindari glacier zero point. Because of our age, we couldnt do with them as they declined. When we mutually learnt, BNK team member is a Physicist and I am an Ex-ISRO employee, we immediately struck a very friendly rapport; On further interaction, BNK Himalayan offered us a customised package taking in to consideration of all our requirements, which is very reasonable. Above all, the team took personal interest, a guide accompanied us all the time paying attention to all needs, not just at the time of trek but also at the overnight stay locations, food at night stay and while on the trek. Moreover, he doubled as an excellent photographer too. Since we are from down south (Hyderabad) and it not often possible to visit Nainital and further north areas, we casually expressed to have a feel of visiting a few interesting places viz., Kasauni, Ranikhet, Baijnath on the return trip to Haldhwani. It has been inserted in the itinerary - giving us a memorable experience of the region. Tasted local food, conversed and had photographs with villagers at Khati. Great experience of visiting mesmerising Himalayas with ever changing weather and scenic beauty, and feeling them during the 6N/7D trip. It is an experience not to be heard of but experience it personally. If you are looking for a customised trek, taking your needs and interests truly in to consideration and making it possible and to have a homely feeling while in the region, I strongly recommend BHK Himalayan to approach first.
